• Main Cabin (Economy): Hawaiian's A321neo economy offers one of the widest economy seat configurations of any US airline — 18–18.5 inches in a 3-3 layout (vs. 17–17.5 inches on most US narrow-bodies). Pitch is 31 inches. All mainland flights include a complimentary meal and alcoholic drinks — a rarity among US carriers on domestic routes. The A330 economy has 17.5-inch seats in a 2-4-2 layout with 31 inches of pitch.
• Extra Comfort: Hawaiian's economy-plus product offers seats with 36 inches of pitch and priority boarding on both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. Available on A321neo and A330 routes. No complimentary lounge access but includes additional meal options and preferred overhead bin access.
• First Class (Domestic/Transcon): Hawaiian's domestic First Class on the A321neo features 2-2 seat layout — the only US domestic carrier offering a 2-2 First Class on a narrow-body, providing the widest first class seats (20 inches) of any US narrow-body first. Seats recline fully (not lie-flat) with 41 inches of pitch. Includes meal service and priority boarding.
• Business Class (Wide-Body International): Hawaiian's A330 Business Class features angled lie-flat seats in a 2-2-2 configuration, with a fully flat bed length of approximately 70 inches. HawaiianMiles is Hawaiian Airlines' loyalty program. Miles are earned based on distance flown and fare class. Pualani Gold members receive complimentary upgrades on interisland flights, bonus miles, and preferred boarding. Since the Alaska Airlines acquisition, there is partial integration with the Mileage Plan, and some earning and redemption opportunities exist across both programs. HawaiianMiles has historically offered good interisland redemption rates.

Pro Tips

• Hawaiian's A321neo is the widest economy narrow-body in US domestic aviation — the 3-3 layout with 18-inch seat width is noticeably more comfortable than Southwest's 3-3 at 17 inches or American's 3-3 at 16.7 inches. Specifically request a seat on the A321neo rather than the older 717 for interisland flights.
• On mainland–Hawaii routes, Hawaiian includes a complimentary meal and complimentary alcoholic drinks in economy — a practice no other major US carrier maintains on domestic routes. This adds real value (typically $20–30 retail) to every booking.
• Honolulu's interisland terminal (Terminal 2) is separate from the main international terminal. If you're connecting to a neighbor island after an international arrival, allow at least 2.5 hours — the immigration, baggage reclaim, and re-check process can be slow during peak hours.
