Best Seats on the Airbus A350

The A350 is widely considered the most passenger-friendly wide-body aircraft. Its 3-3-3 economy layout, curved fuselage walls, and larger windows make even economy comfortable on long-haul routes.

A350 Economy: Best Seats

  • Best pick: Window seats A or K in a 3-3-3 layout. You have only one neighbor and can lean against the curved fuselage wall — a significant comfort advantage on overnight flights.
  • Avoid: Center section seats D and E — two neighbors on both sides and no wall to lean against.
  • Exit rows: Typically rows 30–31 depending on airline. Free for status holders on Qatar, Singapore, and Lufthansa.
  • Seat width advantage: A350 economy seats are typically 17.5–18.5 inches — wider than the 777's 17 inches in a 3-4-3 layout.

A350 Business Class by Airline

  • Qatar Airways Qsuite (A350-900/1000): Private suite with sliding door. Solo window seats (1A, 2K etc.) are the most private. Center 'Quad Suite' pairs (2D+2G) ideal for couples.
  • Singapore Airlines (A350-900): 1-2-1 fully flat layout. Window seats are all direct-aisle — there are no bad seats. Forward rows are quieter.
  • Lufthansa Allegris (A350-900): New Allegris cabin on select deliveries has a private suite option with a sliding door (extra cost above standard Business).
