Flight Status Explained

Every flight status code explained in plain English — plus exactly what to do in each situation.

Scheduled: Flight is confirmed and on time. No action needed.
En Route: Aircraft is airborne and heading to destination.
Landed: Aircraft has touched down. Allow 20–45 min for deplaning.
Delayed: Flight still departing — just later than scheduled. Stay at the airport.
Cancelled: Flight will not operate. Contact airline immediately for rebooking.
Diverted: Aircraft redirected to a different airport. Wait for airline instructions.
